- 3 c. cooked squash
- 1 medium onion (cook)
- 1 egg
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. grated cheese
- potato chips
- 1/4 stick margarine
- French fried onions
- salt (season)
- pepper (season)
Directions

1Cook squash and onion (drain some liquid).

2Season with salt, pepper and margarine.

3Mix squash with egg, cream of mushroom soup and grated cheese.

4Crush one layer of potato chips in bottom of casserole.

5Put mixture in casserole dish.

6Cover with foil until hot and bubbly at 350°.

7Take out of oven and place a layer of the French fried onions on top.

8Put back in oven to brown the onions.
