- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
- 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 14 cup water
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender.

2Add tomatoes and oregano.

3Add ground beef.

4Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

5Place half of the spaghetti in greased 13in x 9in x 2in baking dish.

6Top with half beef mixture.

7Sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.

8Repeat layers.

9Mix the soup and water until smooth; pour over the casserole.

10Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

11Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
