Baked Stuffed Morels

- morels
- boiling water
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives or wild onion
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. white wine
- 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- butter, melted
Directions

1Quickly wash mushrooms to remove dirt from pits.

2Boil for 2 minutes and drain.

3Remove and chop stems.

4Mix stems, garlic, onion, seasonings and white wine in skillet or saucepan; simmer to blend flavors.

5Stir in breadcrumbs and cheese.

6Mix well.

7Spoon stuffing into cavity of each mushroom and place in a baking dish. Drizzle with butter.

8Bake, covered, at 350° for 20 minutes.
