  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes or 1 pt. of home canned
  • 1/2 c. herb seasoned Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1 c. onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Use oblong baking dish for doubling recipe or square dish for single quantity.

    Partly drain tomatoes.

    Layer tomatoes, stuffing mix, onions, etc.

    Top with grated sharp cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or longer.
