Banana Nut Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 8 oz. whipped topping
  • 4 bananas

Directions

    Mix together chopped pecans, egg and sugar.

    Spread on greased foil sheet; bake at 350° until brown.

    Set aside to cool.

    Stir together package of vanilla pudding mix and milk.

    Add sour cream and whipped topping.

    Using a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish, layer 1/2 of the nut mix and sliced bananas, pudding mixture, and the rest of nut mix on top.

    Chill thoroughly before serving.

    This is an elegant version of old fashioned banana pudding.
