Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 sticks oleo (melt 1)
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 bananas
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 3/4 c. nuts
  • maraschino cherries

Directions

    Mix crumbs and 1 stick of oleo, melted.

    Press into 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Beat powdered sugar, 1 stick oleo, eggs and vanilla for 10 to 15 minutes until creamy.

    Spread on top of crust, then add a layer of bananas (2 1/2), 1/2 of pineapple and 1/2 of Cool Whip.

    Repeat layers:

    bananas, pineapple and Cool Whip.

    Garnish by sprinkling nuts on top of Cool Whip and adding a few chopped cherries for color.

    Refrigerate overnight or until firm, about 2 hours.
