  • 1 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 8 c. cubed day-old bread

Directions

    Cover carrots with water and cook until tender.

    Drain and mash.

    Beat eggs and onion, celery, butter and salt and dill weed. Stir in carrots.

    Add bread cubes and mix well.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.

    Serves 8 to 10 people.
