Banana Split Cake

  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. box powdered sugar
  • 5 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 (20 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar pitted maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Mix together melted margarine and crumbs and pat into a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Mix margarine, eggs and sugar.

    Beat 15 minutes with electric mixer.

    Pour over crust.

    Layer sliced bananas over filling.

    Spread pineapple over bananas.

    Spread Cool Whip over pineapple layer and top with cherries and nuts.

    Chill at least 12 hours before serving.
