  • 5 lb. boneless chuck roast
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 Tbsp. hot chili salsa (La Victoria - jalapeno)
  • 1 can chopped green chiles
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in roasting pan and let stand in refrigerator overnight.

    Then cook, covered, in 275° oven for 12 hours.

    Remove from oven and shred with fork.
