- 1 opossum, dressed
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Place the opossum in a baking pan lined with aluminum foil. Prepare the barbecue sauce by combining the remaining ingredients. Baste the animal with the sauce.

2Cover and bake at 350° for 2 1/2 hours, basting frequently with sauce.

3Uncover the meat and cook further until browned.
