Ingredients

  • 6 lb. pork or beef lean roast
  • 6 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. ground mustard
  • 2 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 2 c. ketchup
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped

Directions

    Salt and pepper roast.

    Sear and add a small amount of water. Cook slowly until tender.

    Cool and remove meat.

    Shred meat into small pieces.

    Thicken meat broth until it is the consistency of thin gravy.

    Add celery, onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and ketchup.

    Add sauce to meat.

    Simmer until thick.
