- 1 c. barley
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 large can mushrooms (use juice)
- 4 c. boiling water
- 6 beef bouillon cubes
Directions

1Saute onion and barley until brown.

2Add other ingredients. Bake in a greased casserole for 2 1/2 hours at 350°.

3Can use a slow cooker.
