Basic Bread Dough For Stuffed Bread Recipe

- 2 tsp Yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 x Egg
- 3 3/4 c. Flour
- 1/2 stk Butter melted
Directions

1In a large bowl stir yeast into 1 c. lukewarm water till dissolved.

2Let sit till small bubbles form around edges.

3Whisk in sugar, salt and egg till thoroughly blended.

4Using a wooden spoon, stir in flour and butter till dough comes together.

5Mix gently with your hands till it forms a smooth ball of dough.

6Return dough to cleaned bowl and cover with plastic wrap.

7Let rise till doubled, about 1 1/2 hrs.

8Turn out dough onto work surface and gently squeeze out air bubbles.

9Fill and shape as desired.
