Basic Corn Filling Recipe

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter, (60 g)
  • 1 pkt Frzn corn, (200 g)
  • 200 gm Creamed corn
  • 2 x Onions, minced fine ( 100 g)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste, (2 g)
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic paste, (1 g)
  • 2 x Green chillies, minced fine
  • 70 gm Coriander leaves, minced fine Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Sugar, (5 g)
  • 3 tsp Lemon juice, (15 ml)
  • 1 tsp Garam masala pwdr, (5 g)

Directions

    HEAT three tbsp butter in a pan.

    Add in the corn and creamed corn to the butter and stir-fry for four min.

    Add in 1/2 c. water and cook the corn for ten min.

    Heat the remaining butter in another pan and fry the onions well.

    Add in the ginger paste, garlic paste, green chillies and coriander leaves and stir well.

    Add in the corn mix and keep stirring till dry.

    Add in sugar, lemon juice and the garam masala pwdr.

    Mix well.

    NOTES : This basic corn filling recipe serves as a starting point for appetisers like corn c., corn baskets, corn cones, corn toast and corn stuffed mushrooms.
