6Cover, remove from the heat and rest for 1 hr.

7After soaking the beans and draining them put the beans in a large pot and add water, bring to a boil.

8Lower the heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until bean are tender when mashed or pierced with a fork.

9Most beans requires 90 mins to 2 hrs.
