Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 6 to 7 c. flour
Directions

1Mix yeast and warm water and set until doubled.

2Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and butter.

3Cool.

4Add yeast mixture and eggs. Blend; add flour, stirring while adding until light and smooth. Dough should be light and smooth, almost sticky.

5Turn onto floured board and knead until smooth.

6Put into buttered bowl and let rise to double.

7Punch down; let rise again.

8Shape into desired forms such as cloverleaf, Parker House or crescent rolls or roll out and fill with your favorite filling.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
