  • 5 basil leaves, plus 1 small basil sprig for garnish
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 1/4 ounces London dry gin, such as Martin Miller's
  • 1 ounce Simple Syrup
  • Drop of celery bitters
  • Ice

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the basil leaves with the lime juice, then add the gin, Simple Syrup and celery bitters.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.

    Fine strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the basil sprig.
