  • 1 can French-cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can pearl onions, drained
  • 1 can mushroom soup, drained or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can small green peas, drained
  • 1 can fried onion rings (Durkee)
  • bacon grease

Directions

    Cook beans in 1 teaspoon bacon grease for 10 minutes.

    Drain. Layer 1/2 of beans in bottom of casserole dish.

    Layer 1/2 of green peas; dot with butter and add onions.

    Repeat layers.

    Cover with mushroom soup.

    Sprinkle onion rings on top and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
