Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can yellow beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans or 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 2 lb. pork sausage, fried
  • 2 onions, cut up
  • 1 c. celery, cut up
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Fry onions (cut up) and celery (cut up) until golden.

    Mix together tomato soup, mustard and brown sugar.

    Put beans, sausage, onion and celery in large roaster and mix.

    Add tomato soup mixture.

    Top with tomato paste mixed with water (do not mix with beans).

    Can put bacon strips on top.

    Bake for 1 hour at 375° or can mix all ingredients together and put in crock-pot.
