  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1/3 c. diced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • dash of garlic powder
  • Velveeta cheese
  • parsley flakes
  • paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. Trappey's sliced jalapeno, chopped fine
  • shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

    Combine beans, onion, water, vinegar, garlic powder and jalapeno in saucepan.

    Heat over low heat.

    Pour hot mixture into dish until it's about 1 to 1 1/2 inches deep.

    Cover with Velveeta slices, then sprinkle with Colby and Jack cheese.

    Garnish with parsley and paprika.

    Heat in oven or microwave until cheese melts.
