Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 garlic bud, chopped
  • 3 onions, sliced into rings
  • 16 oz. pork and beans (undrained)
  • 16 oz. red kidney beans, drained
  • 16 oz. lima beans, drained
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Fry bacon until crisp. Saut onions and garlic in bacon fat until soft.

    Combine all ingredients and mix well. Put in 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, approximately 1 hour, stirring twice. Makes 8 servings.
