- 1 lb. dried lima beans
- 7 medium tomatoes, cored, peeled and crushed
- 2 qt. water
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 large stalk celery, diced
- 1/2 lb. lean ham, cubed
Directions

1Mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, until beans are soft.

2Add water as needed to maintain quantity.

3Soup is thick and rich; good for cold winter day, served with fresh, hot rolls.
