Ingredients
- 2 cans refried beans
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. m.s.g.
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
- 1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- chopped onion
- chopped tomato
- chopped lettuce
- taco shells
Directions

1Heat bacon grease in heavy skillet; add onions, brown and then add the beans and mix well.

2Cook over low heat for a few minutes. Add all other ingredients, except Cheddar cheese; mix thoroughly and simmer.

3Gradually add Cheddar cheese.

4Cook until cheese is melted and blended well with the beans.

5Correct seasoning as needed.

6Serve in crisp taco shells as with other tacos, but do not use taco sauce.
