- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
- dash of salt and pepper
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 jar chile sauce
- carrots and potatoes (optional)
- 1 can beer
Directions

1Put a layer of water in roasting pan.

2Cook brisket, uncovered, in a 325° oven 1 hour per pound.

3One-half hour before brisket is done, pour the beer over the top.

4Cover and cook 1/2 hour longer.

5Cool to room temperature.

6Slice thin and reheat to serve.

7Add carrots and potatoes halfway through.
