Ingredients

  • oil for browning meat
  • 1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 1 large onion, cut in rings
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Cut steak into small pieces; salt and pepper and dredge in flour. Brown to golden color in skillet.

    Pour off excess oil. Cover with onion rings and potatoes; salt and pepper as desired. Add water to soup and mix.

    Pour over meat, potatoes and onion rings. Cover and cook over low heat until tender.
