  • 2 c. flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 5 Tbsp. orange juice

    Combine shortening and sugar well; add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each egg.
