- 1 lb. boneless beef round steak or pork steak
- 1 small head cauliflower (4 c.) separated into flowerets
- 1 green pepper
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth or water
- 1 c. onions
- 3 c. hot cooked rice
Directions

1Cut meat into 1/2-inch squares and brown about 5 minutes.

2Add cauliflower, green pepper, soy sauce and garlic.

3Stir to lightly coat vegetables with soy sauce.

4Cover pan and simmer until vegetables are barely tender, about 10 minutes.

5Blend cornstarch, sugar and broth.

6Add to meat mixture with green onions.

7Cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated and sauce is thick. Serve over rice.
