Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 cups Finely Diced Onions
  • 1/2 cups Finely Chopped Mushrooms
  • 2 cubes Beef Bouillon
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

    In a small pot, bring water to a boil. While water is heating, heat oil and saute onions and mushrooms until they are tender.

    Add beef bouillon to boiling water and stir until dissolved.

    Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour to the pan and whisk constantly. When flour begins to turn brown, add bouillon water, a little at a time, until gravy is thick enough to your liking. Add sauteed onions and mushrooms to gravy and let simmer about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
