- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 2 flank steaks
Directions

1Mix ingredients together and let stand.

2Cut steaks with the grain into strips, approximately 1/8-inch thick.

3Marinate in mixture for 1 hour.

4Drain the strips and place very, very close together on wire racks, placed on foil lined cookie sheets.

5Dry in slow oven to 160° to 170° for 12 hours.

6If prepared correctly, jerky can be kept unrefrigerated in an airtight container indefinitely.
