  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 (4 oz.) cans whole green chiles, cut in half lengthwise and seeded, divided
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded medium Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 eggs. beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 dashes of hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
