- 3 lb. ground chuck or 1 1/2 lb. beef, lamb or elk
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
- 2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cracked black pepper
Directions

1Mix spices with water.

2Add to beef.

3Refrigerate overnight. Form rolls in wax paper and lift into the broiler pan that is sprayed with Pam.

4Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

5Turn over about halfway through cooking if desired (in lower it will be done in one hour).

6Cool and wrap in foil.

7Keep in refrigerator.
