  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb. beef boneless round steak (3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 c. olives
  • 6 medium carrots (1-inch pieces)
  • 2 medium onions, cut into fourths
  • 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley

    Mix flour, salt and pepper. Sprinkle 1 side of beef steak with half of the flour mixture. Pound in. Turn beef and pound in remaining flour mixture.
