  • 1 medium onion

  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes

  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 c. dry red wine
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 celery stalks with leaves, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 2 carrots cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp. thyme
