Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. lean beef stew meat
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, cut in quarters
  • 3 carrots, cut
  • 2 stalks celery, cut
  • 1 onion, cut
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, washed and drained
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 to 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 c. hot water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Rinse and pat dry stewing meat.

    Cut in smaller pieces.

    Add all ingredients in 5-quart cooking dish.

    Mix dissolved beef cubes and can of soup with preceding ingredients, adding salt and pepper and any other spices you might like.

    Cook in oven at 350°. Time 2 to 3 hours, covered.

    Do not need to brown meat first.
