Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of beef bones
  • 5 onions, 1 inch cubes
  • 5 carrots, 1 inch cubes
  • 5 celery, 1 inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp butter

Directions

    Cook butter and vegetables in a large pot for 5 minutes.

    Add 10 cups of water into the pot.

    Once the water starts boiling add the beef bones.

    Cook on low heat for 2 hours.

    Remove bones from the pot.
  6. 6
    Strain stock through cheese cloth and into another container.
