Beer Bread

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Mix the sugar into the flour. Add the beer, about 4 ounces at a time.

    Pour into 3 well-greased 3 x 6-inch (loaf pans) or 2 larger size loaf pans.

    Melt the butter and pour over the bread (butter should cover batter). Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
