- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer or club soda
Directions

1Mix the flour, sugar and liquid in a large mixing bowl; the batter may be lumpy.

2Pour batter into greased loaf pan.

3Melt butter and pour 1/3 of butter over the batter and bake in preheated oven at 375° for 40 minutes.

4Remove from oven, pour 1/3 of butter over bread and bake 10 minutes.

5Remove from oven, pour last 1/3 of butter over bread and bake 10 minutes.

6Remove from pan and cool for 30 minutes before serving.
