- 125 g butter
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips, or
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed pre-roasted macadamia nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius.

2Beat butter and sugar till light and creamy.

3Add vanilla and egg.

4Add in dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) till just combined.

5Fold in choc chips/nuts finally.

6At this stage, cookie dough may be rolled into a log and kept frozen;

7Otherwise, just place spoonfuls of cookie mixture on a greased baking tray, bake for 15 mins, till they turn pale gold.

8Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on tray before transfering them elsewhere, (if there're still any left by this time!).
