Ingredients

  • 4 cups rice cooked
  • 1 cup - sev
  • 20 each - papadi
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup potatoes boiled, chopped
  • 8 tablespoons chutney amchur or imli ki chutney
  • 4 tablespoons chutney green
  • 1/2 tablespoonslemon juice optional
  • 1 x salt to taste
  • 1 x cayenne pepper to taste
  • 4 each - papadis, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons - sev
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro Fresh coriander, chopped

Directions

    Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently until all the ingredients are well mixed.

    Divide into 4 equal portions and garnish each portion with the papadis, sev and coriander.

    Serve immediately.

    Tips Nylon sev is a very thin variety of deep fried besan sev used as a topping for chaats.

    It is readily available at most provision stores.

    If you want you can roast puff rice (it is optional).I do and always get a delicious flavour.

    For roast you have to hot a pan n just roast it for 5min only without using oil.
