    Wash 1 cup rice thoroughly.

    Soak for 45 minutes in 1 3/4 cup cold water.

    Cook rice in covered pot until it start to boil.

    Turn down heat to very low and cook for 35 minutes.

    Turn off heat and let sit for 15 minutes.
