- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Sift flour and baking powder together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add alternately the flour and the milk. Last, fold in the beaten egg whites. Bake in a large pan in a moderate oven at 375° for 50 minutes.
