  • 1 (2 lb.) bag powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening (not butter flavor)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • dash of salt

Directions

    In a large mixer, mix sugar and Crisco.

    Slowly add water until creamy and smooth.

    Add vanilla and salt.

    Beat on high speed 3 minutes.

    If too thick, add water, drop by drop.
  6. 6
    Great to use with tube and tips for decorating or just spread on cake or cupcakes.

    May be colored with food coloring too.
