  • 4 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 3 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon anise flavoring
  • 1 1/3 sticks butter (softened)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.

    Add in Large eggs, blend well.

    Add in anise flavoring.

    Mix flour and baking pwdr together.

    Mix well.

    Form dough on lightly greased cookie sheet (into long cylinder shape) and bake 20 to 25 min.

    Take out of oven.

    Slice diagonally and put back in oven for 5 min; cold.

    Drizzle cookies with thin powdered sugar glaze mixed with water and sprinkle with small candies.
