- 2 cups Blackberries
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Directions

1Combine berries, sugar and salt in a small saucepan.

2Turn heat to medium.

3Stir occasionally until berries release juices and mixture starts to bubble, about 35 minutes.

4Increase heat to medium-high and boil 56 minutes or until berries are softened and juices begin to thicken.

5Dissolve cornstarch in lemon juice and add to pan.

6Stir to combine and allow to thicken for 1 minute.

7Serve with waffles, pancakes, French toast, ice cream or dessert of choice.
