- 4 cups blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions

1Combine blackberries and sugar in a pot over medium heat.

2Bring to a simmer.

3Strain seeds if desired, then return juice to pot, reserving 1 tbsp of juice in a small bowl.

4Add the cornstarch to the reserved juice (make sure the juice has cooled down first).

5Blend completely.

6Add cornstarch mixture to juice; bring to a boil.

7Stir frequently, until jam is thickened, about 15 minutes.

8Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
