- 2 quarts blackberries, washed and drained
- 1 quart water
- 2 1/2 ounces tartaric
- sugar, as needed
Directions

1Dissolve acid in water.

2Pour over the berries.

3Let this sit for 24 hours.

4After 24 hours, strain the juice.

5Add 3 cups of sugar for each pint of juice and mix well.

6Bottle the juice.

7To serve, add water to the nectar just like you would with any juice that needs to be diluted.
