Ingredients

  • 1/4 ounce smoky single-malt Scotch, such as Islay
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 1/2 ounce Campari
  • 1/2 ounce Amaro Nonino or other amaro (Italian herbal liqueur)
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 orange twist, flamed, for garnish

Directions

    Rinse a chilled coupe with the Scotch; discard the excess.

    Fill a pint glass with ice.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnish and stir well.

    Strain into the prepared coupe and garnish with the flamed twist.
