  • 5 ounces soybean curd Strips
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper chopped pickled, Find the ones that have thin skin. This's not spicy.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt add and taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Put more if you like it. It is a healthy oil.

    Blanched soybean curd strips about 2-5 mins in boiling water. You don't have to run it under cold water in this case. Soybean curd strips doesn't need to treated carefully. This is 90% of the work. Blanching is to put food in boiling water to cook quickly and then rinse under cold water to prevent further cooking in order to keep nice textures of food.

    Chop up your cilantro while the soybean curd strips are cooking.

    Add rest of the ingredients except for the salt and cilantro. Add salt to taste, and then add cilantro and combine everything well.
