  • 8 qt. unpeeled tomatoes*
  • 4 c. green pepper*
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano*
  • 2 c. onion*
  • 1 garlic clove*
  • 8 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions

    *All measuring is done after you have processed through the blender.

    Simmer the tomatoes, green pepper, oregano, onions and garlic 1 hour, then add tomato paste, black pepper, salad oil, sugar and salt.

    Cook for 1 1/2 hours more.

    Freeze.
