  • 2 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
  • 1/2 lb. Bleu cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns or onion rolls or English muffins
  • Dijon mustard (garnish)
  • thinly sliced onion (garnish)

Directions

    Form meat into 8 thin 1/4 pound patties.

    Form 4 thin smaller patties of Bleu cheese.

    Place the Bleu cheese patties in the center of 4 of the hamburger patties.

    Top with the other 4 hamburger patties and press firmly.

    Press around the edges to seal.

    Broil or grill to desired doneness.

    Serve on toasted buns with desired garnish.
